1: The type of personal data we collect

  • Customer Data: Data relating to any quote/purchase/payment for our services. This can include your name, job title, billing address, email address, phone number, purchase details, etc.
  • User Data: Data about how you use our website, for example your IP address, browser history, length of visit to pages on our website, page views and navigation journey on our site. All of this data is collected via Google Analytics.
  • Marketing Data: Data about your preferences when receiving marketing communications from us and our third parties, and your preferred methods of communication. We process this data to tailor out communications to you and to deliver relevant content within our website and advertisements to measure and understand the effectiveness of our marketing.

2: How we obtain personal data from you

The information obtained from you is dependent on the services we provide, or the nature of the engagement you have with us. Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you. Information will be collected at any time that it’s provided to us, for example when you send an enquiry to us or agree to use our services, from our correspondence or phone calls, or when you voluntarily provide us with information such as customer surveys, or providing feedback.

3: How we use personal data

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping via our secure internal systems
  • To improve our services
  • If you have chosen to opt-in, we will periodically send promotional emails about new services or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided

The communication between browsers and our website uses a secure encrypted connection wherever your personal data is involved. We require any third party who is contracted to process your personal data on our behalf to have security measures in place to protect your data and to treat such data in accordance with the law. In the unfortunate event of a personal data breach, we will notify you and all relevant persons and authorities within 72 hours of the breach when we are legally required to do so. Our website is hosted by WP Engine who are a trusted WordPress host. They offer high speed, reliability and peace of mind.

5: The length of time we will retain your data

Where you have consented for us to do so, for example you have consented to receive marketing materials from third parties, or in respect of third parties products and services; we may pass your data on to the relevant third parties such as business partners, suppliers, sub-contractors and other third parties that we use in connection with the running of our business including:

  • Third party service providers that we engage with to provide IT systems and software, and to host our website
  • Third party payment processing services
  • Third party service providers that we engage with to deliver products/services you have ordered/requested
  • Third party service providers that we engage with to send emails and postal mail on our behalf, including in relation to incomplete orders or abandoned requests, or marketing communications, to provide data cleansing services and to provide marketing and advertising services
  • Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our website
  • Affiliate networks through whom you have accessed our website
  • To any third party to whom we may choose to sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them.
